If you were scrolling romance Instagram at the end of September, these were hard to miss: Orbit picking up two more Kimberly Lemming Mead Mishaps novels, Nisha J. Tuli unveiling When Rage Broke Heart for Forever and Orbit UK, and Bramble dropping the cover for Cynthia Timoti’s Still Married Actually. Here’s a quick look at those posts — and a few other flashes that were circulating the same week.
Orbit picks up two more Mead Mishaps novels
Orbit Books US posted that it has acquired two new novels from Kimberly Lemming in the Mead Mishaps series.
The fourth book, That Time I Got Drunk and Was Bitten by a Snake Man, is slated for Summer 2027; the fifth for 2028. Orbit’s caption frames the new stretch as more of Lemming’s raunchy romantasy comedy and names Orbit US executive editor Brit Hvide acquiring North American rights from Courtney Miller-Callihan at Handspun Literary Agency.
Nisha J. Tuli’s next romantasy trilogy
Nisha J. Tuli posted the official announcement for When Rage Broke Heart, first in a new romantasy trilogy with Read Forever (US) and Orbit UK.
She describes a second-chance, lovers-to-enemies-to-lovers story between heart-bonded mates Honor Vale and North Starling, with a dual timeline, and puts the book on a fall 2027 schedule. The post thanks agent Lauren Spieller and notes the deal was signed in mid-2025.
Bramble’s Still Married Actually cover
Bramble Romance posted the cover for Cynthia Timoti’s Still Married Actually, dated June 29, 2027.
The caption sketches a Vegas drunken-dare marriage that resurfaces years later; cover art is credited to Katie Smith Illustration, with hand lettering and design by Jess Kiley.
