Simon & Schuster UK’s Skylight imprint has made its first acquisition — Anna Walden’s debut Between the Years, framed as a second-chance love story — The Bookseller reported on October 2, 2026.
Publishers Sam Eades and Sophie Wilson took world all-language rights from Katie Greenstreet at Paper Literary. The Bookseller puts e-book and audio on November 19, 2026, with paperback in autumn 2027, and notes rights have sold in ten territories, including Gallery in the U.S. (German rights went to Droemer Knaur). Skylight launched at S&S UK in January 2026 as a commercial fiction imprint under executive publisher Phoebe Morgan.
