Penguin Random House UK’s DUSK imprint has acquired Sophie Clark’s Ashes for the Evening Star plus a sequel in a six-figure global co-publishing agreement, The Bookseller reported on September 30, 2026.
The trade’s rights desk (Melina Spanoudi) frames the pair as an adult romantasy duology. PRH UK’s public fiction lookbook lists Anthea Townsend as acquiring editor and puts the first book on a March 2028 schedule.
