Transworld has signed contemporary romance novelist Mhairi McFarlane to a two-book agreement, ending her long run at HarperCollins, The Bookseller reported on September 28, 2026.
Per the trade’s rights desk (Maia Snow), McFarlane leaves HarperCollins after twelve novels with that house.
