Julia DeVarti at Little, Brown has acquired world rights to Kalie Cassidy’s next romantasy duology, according to Publishers Weekly’s Book Deals roundup for the week of September 21, 2026 (posted Sept. 18, 2026).
Per that PW roundup: the project is set in a world where winter brings endless night and a monster who steals children from their beds; the first book, The Long Night Looms, is scheduled for a fall 2028 release; Sheyla Knigge at High Line Literary Collective represented the author.
